One of the major obstacles for rapid social growth in the country is constrained resources available for rural education. SHV has introduced the “SHV Educational Book Program” whereby the company’s authorized Distributors are provided with educational books for donation through a fund to the school of their choice. As the SHV market is concentrated in the rural areas of the country, most of the benefit goes to that sector. The Government is most supportive of the scheme and has welcomed SHV’s initiative in this vital area of child education.
